Back (Again)...

Hello dear friends!

I have once again had a longer absence than I had hoped, but that is just the way things are happening during this season of my life. More about that to come...

I appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers these last few weeks. I praise God that He has been faithful to me this last year and has given me peace and hope about the future. Thanks again for all of your warm thoughts.

Last weekend, our church had our Marriage Retreat. It went off very well and I was very pleased considering I was the one in charge of all the arrangements. We had 9 couples participate in the retreat and the facility that we used was simply great. My wheels are already starting to turn about ideas for next year's retreat.
Above is a picture of the baskets that I made to go in each of the couple's room. The baskets had a pair of slipper socks, a deck of cards, three tea lights, a box of matches, several pieces of Hershey Reserve Cacao Squares, a retreat schedule, and print outs of two player card games for the couples to play. Overall, the baskets cost less than $5 each.

Between the work I am doing for our church, finishing up my nutrition class, and watching children, I have been very busy and haven't had any spare time. However, this is just a season that will last until the end of the semester.
