A May Gone By...

I hope that all of you had a wonderful month of May. I had a great month. My sister came out right before the first of the month so she started the month off great. There are pictures from her trip in a previous post.

I celebrated my birthday on May4th. This was my first birthday away from home, but that did not mean I didn't get sung to over the phone and get birthday cards from across the miles. My DH and I went out to eat at T.G.I. Friday's and then went to a movie in celebration.

My DH and I also celebrated our one year anniversary on May 6th. For our anniversary, we spent the whole day together. We went and had breakfast at a local breakfast cafe, went browsing some stores, and played tennis. For dinner, we got all dressed up and went to an Italian restaurant for dinner. It was a great day.

My DH's parents came in for a visit on Mother's Day and stayed through the following Saturday. I had a nice time hanging out with my mother-in-law (MIL). My DH and his dad "renovated" my back porch. I will have to take some pictures so I can share the result.

My DH has had off from his work for the last half of the month. This gave us the opportunity to hang out and enjoy each other's company.

Verse from the month of May...

Delight yourself also in the LORD,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way to the LORD,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring
it to pass.
~Psalms 37:4-5~

I'm Back...

Okay, so one post for the whole month of May is really and truly quite unacceptable. This month has in many ways been so busy and in many other ways, it hasn't. However, I do hate the fact that it has been a whole month since I last posted.

I look forward to catching up with all of you.

Welcome May...

Happy first day of May! How exciting, an new month and a special one at that. The month of May contains my birthday, my Gram's birthday, and my one year anniversary. The month of May also houses Mother's Day (how fun)! What an action packed month.
